It is with my heart completely broken open that write that I Andres, my life partner and partner in 4 Branches Chinese Medicine Center, died at the end of June. Some of you already know this because I have been telling people individually as I have had opportunity to do. I have the deepest heartfelt appreciation for every single act of kindness and love and every single prayer that each person I have told has offered to me and to Gabriel. Thank you.
To those of you who are first hearing this news as you read my words, the grief is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It has taken me these months to digest and assimilate Andres’ death enough to make a public announcement.
There are those of you whose lives he touched with his generous spirit, his humor, his brilliance, his deep understanding and experience of Chinese medicine, healing, inner alchemy and Taoist teachings. I have had the honor and privilege to hear some of your stories. I invite those who haven’t to share your experience with me individually or in this forum. Andres was curious, and he courageously explored the multiple dimensions of himself and the world around him. He was always seeking to understand and live a life that was rooted in his own integrity. I have had the honor and privilege to partner with him in every aspect of our lives, and I will carry forward his wisdom and all I learned from him. For those who know me, everything I offer is shaped by my partnership with Andres. I hear his voice and his wisdom in everything I bring to my work as an herbalist, Master of Medical qi gong, and Taoist priest.
4 Branches Chinese Medicine will continue offering a wide and comprehensive range of Chinese medicine modalities. You may schedule an appointment by texting or calling 336-739-0317. Offerings include:
- Herbal medicine
- Medical qi gong (Chinese medicine energy work)
- Chinese nutritional therapy
- Qi gong and meditation instruction
- Mentoring of students of herbal medicine
I will be focusing on Chinse herbal and energy medicine, as well as meditation and qi gong instruction, both in person as well as by phone or video call. My goal in offering all of these modalities is to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support as you navigate and balance the messages and needs of your daily life with that of your soul/inner guidance/higher self. There are many things in life that cloud or cover inner guidance and wisdom, and Chinese medicine and Taoist practices have many gifts and offerings to connect these two aspects of ourselves, as well as provide support for your physical and emotional bodies.
4 Branches will remain in the current location 2594 Reynolda Rd, Suite B through December of 2022 and will keep you posted if anything changes. Please reach out if there is anything I do can do to assist you in your own healing journey. You can reach me at 336-739-0317 or 4branchescmc@gmail.com.
